I've used TACA multiple times and always had an excellent experience. Last trip I used Copa and that worked out great too. The American carriers, as usual, all suck. Lousy service...lousy everything.

United is having a sale now on the las-sjo route. As low as $451 roundtrip on selected dates from November thru February. I'm stocking up!!!

they are only offering those prices on the 9 hour minimum through houston. i can't do that man. the non stop is 709. i'm going to hold out and hope for the taca prices to drop on the non stop or san salvador one stop at 7 hours. thanks for the heads up though.

It's even worse trying to fly out of SFO. The LAX Taca flight looks promising.

What nonstop are you talking about? I referred to the las-sjo route. No airline offers a nonstop from las-sjo

Sounds like perhaps some confusion between "LAS" and "LAX" going on? LR605 is a direct non-stop out of "LAX".

BTW---looks like LAX - SJO on TACA in mid-Jan. around $630 (not sure if that's with or without taxes.

Thanks for all the info guys, I booked United from Vegas to Houston, all things considered, price, length, etc, seemed to be the best deal.

I just booked the LAX-SJO non-stop in February. I booked through United, who code shares with LACSA. The fare for United was $540.00, the same flight for LACSA was $630.00.

I like the hours. You get into CR at 9:15 AM, and leave at 6:45 PM.

Health & happiness......
