I am sitting in the airport in Managua after a great eight days in Nicaragua. When I arrive in San Jose I will grab the first cab I see. The convenience and speed of getting back to my apartment is not worth the hassle of saving a few bucks.
That's fine; your money, and certainly your decision
2 small points:
The difference between taking the bus and a short cab ride to my hotel is like $25 - maybe I'm getting cheap(er) in my old age, but that's not an insignifican sum - at least to me
Purpose of my previous post was simply to let guys - new guys especially - that there are options to taking a cab - especially the bus (many vetran travelers are unaware of this really good option), as well as sharing a cab, and grabbing one at departures after they let out a fare
