My 15th trip coming back to CR. I am taking a Rio break. I am booked at LA. This is the first time solo. Looking for a wing to go to some clubs out of the gulch. This is a in and out trip so to speak. I am 51 and know the game. Dale Ray aka DOC

I'll be in this Friday night around 9pm and staying at SL. I'm hanging there till Sunday, then off to Jaco. I'm 45 making my third trip. Maybe we could grab some beers and make the rounds. I'm solo this trip. Couting down the hours now!!! If you want to try to meet up, just send me a PM. Phil

I'll be arriving tomorrow night (Nov 19) and staying @ the SL until Nov 24. I am 54, 5-6 with south Asian looks. Very often mistaken for a tico but do not speak a word of spanish. Well here is the extent of my language:

Dam just realized that is pitiful, given that I have been coming to San Jose since they days of Key Largo, BBC and Jay Trettien (bless his soul).

When people notice that I am unable to communicate, they resort to the sign language or whatever English they can speak. Most start with me in Spanish, even though 35 years in USA, I still can't be mistaken for a gringo.(even though technically I am)
