I am very surprised to hear about bang bangs knees as he wrote a few weeks back that he walked 7 miles everyday, worked out everyday also and was in excellent health for his age.
Also what about all the orphans he was helping with the donations he was collecting for the walking tours. Who will help them now?
I have had arthritis in both knees and hips for years but since moving here it has been much better than it was when I lived in the states (climate here is much better for this problem). I chose to just ignore the pain and walk. In the last month or so the pain in my right knee has gotten much worse, to the point I can now only walk a couple of blocks without having to stop for a while. It is my problem and I just have to live with it. Knee replacement surgery will be a last resort! I am still walking as much as the pain will permit, but much slower and with a cane. I do still workout daily; just have had to eliminate some of the exercises that put to much strain on the old knee. And for my age I do consider myself to be in good health.
As for the orphanage, I quit accepting donations back 3+ years ago when I moved from next door to the orphanage in San Pedro. This was the same time I quit doing the regular tours with large groups.
I will admit that the principle reason for no longer meeting guys and taking them around is the problem with guys not showing up!! It gets old riding a bus into town, walking from the bus stop up the hill to the SL, waiting around sometimes for an hour for guys who do not have the decency to show up nor let me know they can not make it, and can not even be bothered to send a PM after the fact!!!
And, Yes Zman, I do realize your post is total sarcasm but that is your problem, not mine!!!
