my only regret is that i didn't stumble across this site before i booked my first trip this August, or i'd have pushed it back till the Aniversary Party. Be cool to have a beer with some of you knuckleheads- er gentlemen. Then again, with all the seasoned veterans in town, all the best girls would be spoken for, and most of the B-team ones too... hell i'd end up having to cruise for trannys and pay the cien... better i make my mark before the storm hits...

but count me in for the next shin-dig.... new years or super bowl anyone?

Where does one vote who has been there 3 times? I'm in the plus 10 category, but we need another option.

I just came to this site because I was thinking of going to CR but may or may not have ever actually made it and I never came back to CRT after that.

I've gone many many times and have read all I want at this site, so have to decided to move on and no longer visit.

I've gone somewhere between 0 and 100 times, and still visit this site but never vote for post of the month or participate in polls like this.

I never use the search feature and somehow missed this thread even though its a sticky at the top of the general section. Do you mean there was a survey on this?

I'm one of the 1-2% of membership that votes in these polls even though the sampling method is probably highly non-representative of the overall membership, such that no real conclusions can be drawn form the results.

Fellas you don't need me to create polls... HELP YOURSELF!

Okay I'll bite. How does technically equate to actual? Mean you been there once and wish it was 3 more times? Am really confused what you meant by "technically"

How do I cast a vote.

You would do the vote thing on the top of this page. Although, not being vip, you might not be able to vote. In which case, sign up and join the brotherhood.

Have been to CR 3 times. Voted more than 5 since that was the closest to 3. Thats my vote and I'm sticking to it. Later, SB

DD, my passport has four stamps because in trip # 3, I went to Honduras for a week and then back to CR!

I wish I knew how to set up one of these completely unscientific polls, the results from which would show nothing more than the limited number of guys here who vote in polls.

Hell, I'm so ignorant, I don't even know how to nominate or vote for post of the month.

Sadly, even an unscientific sampling such as this won't reveal the real demographic makeup of the membership. Prolijo's suggested poll choices are terrific.

Here are a few other alternatives for this poll:

1. I tried this website but got shut down by veterans here for asking a dumb question, and never returned.

2. I've visited C.R. numerous times, but have never actually gotten laid...but I write really enjoyable, funny trip reports.

3. I've only been once, but I stayed more sober than the rest of you, kept my ears open, maintained a journal and know how to do research , and therefore think I know what I'm talking about when I write a post to this site.

4. I live in a Spanish-speaking country other than C.R. and speak the language fluently; despite the fact that I've never actually set foot in Costa Rica, I feel that I have something to add when we discuss Latinn culture.

5. I'm just an abusive S.O.B. who loves inciting flame wars, and it's none of your freaking business whether or not I've ever been to Costa Rica. Up yours!

6. I've never been outside the U.S.A., but I know for sure that a certain San Jose nightclub really blows wooly Marino sheep.

7. I've never been to Costa Rica, but I can tell just from visiting this site that most guys here are not normal.
