I had the same issue with Southwest last week. My trip in September showed up as terminating in HOU instead of changing flights there and continuing to SJO.
With the unexpected surge in demand, airlines are changing many flight times as more flights are added. The computer tries to adjust your booking but often fails spectacularly. You must call to straighten it out.
This is one circumstance airlines are required to refund your money if you request. Nothing they hate more than giving money back. So they are usually very accommodating. I bought my ticket in a June fare sale for a stupid low price. They spent the time to fix it to my satisfaction with no extra charges.
It isn’t just Southwest. After a schedule readjustment in May, American had me in the air simultaneously on two different flights on my way to SJO. After calling they fixed it by connecting in a different city, something their computer didn’t consider.
Bottom line: schedules of all airlines are in flux as they adjust their flights. Check your reservation on their website to catch reschedules gone amiss and deal with it early.
