At a tournament in the Netherlands last winter I saw players from Venezuela and the Phillipines wearing winter coats inside during play. Most of their interviews were about how cold it was. The Scandanavians were outside in shirtsleeves playing soccer thinking it was like a nice spring day. I expect most of us have met Ticos who are from near sea level who consider San Jose really cold. It is all a matter of perspective. In case anybody is interested, here are the folks playing. The strongest Tico isn't in it.
