Does anyone have info on private commuter air service from SJ to Quepos? Someone was trying to tell me they paid $150 total each way for four people. If that is the case I’ll be taking the plane to Quepos from SJ. I guess its like a twenty minute flight.

That seems a little cheap. Was this one of those typical "word on the street" things? Who told you this? You might want to check that price again.

Sansa and Nature Air fly small 12 seater planes to/from SJO-Quepos, but their prices are around $70 each way, per person. If you can confirm your above statement, I'd like to know the name of this service also.

I flew from SJ to Quepos on Sansa and it was $108 R/T. I was on the first flight of the day and was the only passenger on the flight. So it was kinda like my own private flight

The flight there left on time, but the flight back was about 30 minutes late. Yes its only about a 20 minute flight.

Waiting at the Quepos airport for my return flight to SJO, there were several charter planes landing and picking up passengers, but I don't know what the cost was. $150 sounds too cheap

Here are links to 2 charter companys. They seem like a good deal if you have small group. Especially if you wan to travel on your own time frame.
