sorry to offend everyone- I thought the only map was the "lumps map" but I was wrong, I guess. (I don't have a membership so I didn't see the other map)
Anyway, I thought it would be a fun project and since I was offering my professional services I wanted to be compensated for my efforts. I would have used info from the board and combined it with the other map's info, but if you guys already have one than it's NO SWEAT OFF MY SACK!

Mucho Gusto said he'd buy your membership if you put it together.

Well guess that explains that. Spec was not intentionally stepping on Pro or GR toes. He did not know their maps existed since he is not a VIP.

The offer was out there and he decides to respond like that ??? Why not just post what you have and let MG buy you the VIP membership. If you are as good as you say I would be happy as well as I am sure other members would be happy to buy you a beer or two when in town for your efforts.

This board is all about friendship and camaraderie, not everyone out for himself.

I don't see anything wrong with this site,,just leave it to Admin, he is the one that makes changes and decides what to do.

like I said I would be happy to make the map, but if there's no need for one than I won't waste my time (i didn't know there was a better map than lump's, because im not a VIP over here)

anyway- is there any way to get those good maps without membership? I would like to see how well they're made and if there's any room for improvement.

A good simple hobbying map avaialble to anyone is Don Gordos map on Dongordo.com. It is current and simple to use as well as accurate. I generally carry it and the VIP section map here by Getrythum. I would say however $39 memberdship for a half way frequent visitor is well worth the investment in benefits and will pay for itself easily in as little as one trip.rbc100

spec,
19 posts in 1 day (and counting) and many of them are on old, out-dated threads.
I suggest you read more and post less until you have something of value to add.

Oh c'mon Wit.... give the guy a break... :)

He's only learning the ropes.

He's found a new toy and he wants to play with it...

19 in one day. Thats not so bad. This week we had a veteran poster put up 96 posts between Monday morning and Friday afternoon.

Thats 19 per day for 5 straight days, whew

One wonders if they have a life?

If a person is like the common human being he would have to eat, and sleep like all of us. Add spending countless hours reading and posting on the CRT boards and I wonder if that leaves him any time to become such an expert at mongering?

After all, there are only so many hours in a day..

Yep, ID, know what you mean.

Sort of like a veteran member putting up 91 posts from Sunday to Saturday this week, eh?
