Anybody ever tried this. I plan on a 6 to 9 day trip. If I get bored or tired of sportphuckin, I might cut my trip short. What are the chances of flying standby on a return trip.

Depending on what airline you're flying you can usually call their 800 number or check online to see if a flight is full. Then be there in plenty of time to get on the standby list. You might have to pay something extra.

I arrived early for a Delta flight (domestic) and found I could catch the flight just departing if I hustled to the gate. They charged me a $25 (cash) "processing" fee but I got to my destination 1 1/2 hours early.

If you're tired of the gulch I suggest you sign up for a tour or two. They are a lot of fun and can take an entire day. By the time you get back, shower and eat you'll be ready to hit the clubs again.

yes, take some tours. on my first trip, I went to the tour desk at the Hotel Del Rey and signed up for some half day tours as well.

also, you may wish to hire one of the the little darlings to escort you on some of the local public busses to visit such places as the Basillaca in Cartoga.

I paid one little darling $30 one day just to ride around the city/countryside on the public bus system.

Great way to get out of the gulch and see the countryside with some nice company.

maybe you might even want to visit the beach areas for a night or two.
