In your plan to use the lobby if wifi is questionable be aware that Cocal doesn’t really have a lobby. The front desk is outside under the roof that covers the taxi drop-off area. The bar of course has seating and wifi is good there. But it’s outside by the pool and can be hot. The casino has a/c but no where to sit. Small bar with a few stools and then gaming tables and slot machines. Not sure when it opens?

I was just in a parking lot room, the very last one on top last week. The wifi there was fine.

Hank I would definitely send her back if they get an attitude or in a rush and Bulldog I may look into a Parking Lot room in future but being my 1st time to Jaco I'm gonna go for a Ocean View but thanks for WIFI info looking forward going to Jaco and Cocal in 2 weeks
