Just got an a mail stating the name change.

I have seen it posted on real estate sites for a couple years as "for sale". I guess the name change is from the wielder of the weapon to the weapon.

I have stayed there and had a great experience. I guess we will see if the new ownership policies are guest friendly.

It is less than 10 minute walk to Cocal, easy even in flip flops. However, you will be taking a cab back with chicas in high heels. Almost everything in Jaco is along the main road through town. Cocal is down a short Callle towards the beach.

Poseidon was a small friendly place. Their restaurant was very good. There was a small chica fee $10 each time you brought one back from Cocal. I only came back later after the restaurant had closed. The hotel desk is basically in the restaurant. Might be a little uncomfortable with families eating in the restaurant as they check in your provocatively dressed chica from Cocal.

As it appears to have been sold, who knows how things will change?
