Hey fellas,

Curious if young guys (mid-to-late 20s) are rare in the CR hobby scene? From my reading the forums the guys who mention their ago seem to be 50+, just interested in hearing from the younger crowd...if they exist. haha

Also, do you guys use your personal cell phones internationally? Or buy a burner phone in CR?

I am 57 but I feel like I’m 27, does that count? Do you have AT&T?

Me and my usual wingman are in our early 30s now but we started hitting CR when we were 24..I remember being the youngest guys in HDR. Good times...its definitely a different experience being younger. We got a few freebies...partied at El Pueblo...even went to a few girls house to hangout. Just dress nice, smell good and there is a good chance you get laid for free.

Costareeker - I have AT&T with an option to use my data plan internationally for $10 a day. Was planning on doing that to keep things simple.

Do you have other ideas/options for AT&T?

This is my first post. Been a looong time lurker on this forum and have wondered the same thing. I'm 27 and just booked my first ever mongering trip down to CR Jan 18-22. Definitely a little nervous, but, YOLO haha. Of course as a relative young'n, I respect and appreciate all of the wisdom and sagely advice of the "mongering trailblazers" hahaha. Can't wait to see what it offers

To all you youngin's: By stumbling onto our playground you have saved yourself from many years of misery and heartbreak being married to a Gringa only to have it end in Divorce because she either starts phucking someone else, or in my case just quit phucking (you) me. Can you get your heart stomped on in Costa Rica of course you can. But with all the knowleged posted in these forums if you do, well you you were warned. Seriously though congrats on finding out about this lifestyle early and learning that pu*sy can be had much cheaper than in the US of A without all the bullshit of dating and gettting married.

Dive in and have a blast but remember you only have one pecker so take care of it. I my case I had a vasectomy fairly young and have never regreted the decision, it certainly eliminated the worries of getting a girl pregnant and I think most of the girls I every slept with for fun liked knowing that they did not have to worry as well.

Everyone on this board THINK's he is a young monger! The mirror and his Medicine cabinet tell a different story! Have fun and remember one day you to will get old!!

Good for you...I was in Phuket mid and late November, after a week in SJO. Drastic change of scene

I fit this description thinking of making my first trip here next month choosing between Costa Rica or Panama. I'm a former Sosua guy also been to Ac a couple times I like it scene is to small so went to Pattaya which I loved.

I know some young guys in their early 30's from Miami, they are Cubans, they speak perfect Spanish and come down here and meet non hoe women at their nightclubs and everywhere else, those lucky bastards get poon all the time for free.

I've been a monger here for 14 years, started at 50. Of course it's tons of fun, but I'm still curious why 20 somethings come here. When I was in my 20's and 30's and to a certain extent, early 40's, I got female companionship easily with little hassle and expense except for when I was married 6 years...

Now if you're a goof-ball and can't get girls no matter what your age, that's one thing, come on down, you belong here, but if a young guy is 1/2 way decent looking with a decent job, car and gift of gab, he should be able to score with ease for free or the price of dinner. At that age, the "hunt" and "winning her over" was the fun and the challenge to me, finally getting the girl was just the finale of the whole dance.

After living in CR for 2 years and visiting numerous times, when I returned to the USA in my late 50's to early 60's, I had many chances with attractive women in their 40's and 50's but it was too late, Costa Rica ruined me and I had no desire for any of them. Recently I blew off two attractive women in their mid 40's who wanted to go out with me that under normal circumstances a man in his early 60's should be doing back flips because they are interested in him, but CR ruined me....

The only warning I can give young guys is this habit is addicting and it would be a shame for your life if you went home and attractive women your age would be interested in you for a real life relationship and you're spoiled and blow them off, be careful, it happens....

I can only speak for myself as a young guy, but I got into this hobby at 18 when an older coworker showed me the light. From that point forward, knowing that pu*sy was for sale I saw no reason to play the movie/dinner/drinks...maybe get laid game.

I can take my rifle into the woods, sit there for 6 hours and maybe get a deer to eat, or I could spend 15 minutes at the butcher and get a nice piece of meat all ready to go. The hunt can be fun sometimes, but don't we all appreciate convenience?

I'm mid 30s and started hitting CR 2 years ago. Don't have any issues meeting women in the states. but no matter what a guys age or situation, coming to CR to experience some of the most beautiful, sexual women on the planet is something I'd encourage every man to do at as young of an age as they possibly can!!
