So, no matter what, if bad things happened somewhere, despite anything, changes in ownership, etc., that place is forever cursed?

A chica in Costa Rica stole something - so we can never go to Costa Rica?

It is an entirely different hotel.

Your comment reminded me of a situation I encountered... :?

Back in November of 2014 I encountered a chica at HDR who was listed in the old CRT thief and bad performer avoid section with pictures, you old timers will remember that. Had a pic of her and One guy complained lousy attitude and she stole from him, story sounded terrible, forgot the details, but ugly nasty incident, still, the beyatch was damn hot and very distinct and exotic looking, just my type.

I was leery of her because of the story but she was very sweet and playful, we were back in the slot machine corner by the rest rooms at HDR, her body was amazing, she kept rubbing her ass in my groin and letting me grapple her while we talked, she was very cool and low key, laid back but alluring...

Since I'm no stranger to making stupid moves when I've been warned, and Netgems jr. often takes over the decision making, I took her back to the room. I was staying at HDR and my habit is to lock everything in the safe in the evening, have about $150 in cash max, and find a nightcap...I figured what's she going to get from me, another $50?

To my surprise, she gave a fabulous performance and was sweet, gfe, no attitude, nothing wrong. I liked her so much I had her the next night, 2 nights, nothing stolen, great performance. :D

One man's nightmare is another man's treasure, after all, even my ex is remarried...

Hi,

First time to CR next week. Is the Taormina still Chicago friendly? I am currently booked at AC Marriott but certain they are not and was considering the Taormina. Don’t really want to be at the HDR. Should not be a problem walking iver to HDR and taking a chica back to the Taormina right? Any latest info? Thanks in advance!

Didn't you create a thread asking for this same info? Anyway:

Yes.

No problem unless the chica doesn't want to go for some reason (HDR used to ban chicas if they were seen working at the Mona Lisa, but I don't think this is true anymore).

Any latest info?
Nice buffet breakfast included in room price ($10 for guests).
Onsite casino.
Upon check-in they give you a voucher for a free beer and a free casino play.
Sportsbar next to casino with a few working girls (not many).
Rooms have been recently remodeled.
Modern digital safes in the rooms.
No fee, but every chica must register at the front desk.
I've stayed at this place multiple times over the years, starting when the late Guy Grand ran CRT guest relations. Never had anything stolen.

Thanks MH! Yes I did start a thread after as I was not sure if this was the correct place to ask seeing the thread was over a year old. When I did not get a response, I started a new thread. Thanks anyways and appreciate the info you provided. Now have to see if I can close the other thread.

The hotel restaurant il gattopardo is pretty good and the sports bar serves late including burgers, sandwiches, pizzas and very good chicharrón and chifrijo. Next door is the Tournant Restaurant and Cafe open for lunch Monday to Saturday and dinner Wednesday - Saturday. Seating in either the garden or the art gallery. I watched the NFL games in the sports bar this past Sunday, and working girls trickled in on and off in the late afternoon and evening.

You do have to be careful of a couple of disreputable gringos living nearby.

Thanks for the info!
