I will be traveling to CR for my first trip Nov 5 Nov 11. Goig solo and staying at the Cocal the first 3 nights and La Amistad the last 3 nights. I am a VIPer on here and have been doing some serious research for the last several months. I would love to take a tour of the MPs in San Jose, meet up with a wingman, or just have a beer and hang out. Drop me a line. I will have whats app when I am there, but wont get my number until I arrive in country.

Nice, jumping right in without a net! Unf i wll miss you by about a week, but enjoy and you will def meet others at LA and Sportsmen throughout your stay. Plenty of discussion to be had at both and many MP tours start shortly after making some new friends.

Thanks. Kind of a long story but cheap airplane tickets turned into 6 days in CR. It looks like I put the cart before the horse by going to Jaco before San Jose, but I had made my reservations prior to getting VIP access on this site. I think that I have read every post for the last year, some twice. I plan on re-reading the newbie post started by Orange once again so I am hoping to at least have a little knowledge and not be all tongue hanging out, drooling all over the place when I get there. Got a ride with Pura Vida Transport from the airport to Jaco and back to La Amistad, and I am sure that I will get some more need to know info on the hour plus drive. Thanks for the words of encouragement and I am sorry I am going to miss you during this visit...

I'll be there Nov 2-9 always happy to lead some of those MP tours Just a word of warning on Jaco, though, while you will find some superstars in the looks department, they do come at a higher rate...or try to. Usually, start at $150 there. Some will go much higher. Me and a couple of guys were listening to an average girl brag about asking for $500 and laughing that he "negotiated" her down to $300. ...But, you will have fun. The gringa tourists will annoy the hell out of you by the time you leave--always judging... See you at LA.

Oh yes, almost forgot. They are another breed of shark out there. They WILL steal anything not locked away. Do not take a shower without keeping them in your line of sight or have them take a shower with you. We watched a couple of chicas, after they had stolen a watch from a guy, Googling on their smartphone how much it was worth...

Thanks for the information, I have purchased a couple of luggage locks so I at least am planning on having everything locked up before I leave the room out on the prowl. I ended up changing my plans and staying in San Jose the first night, instead of staying 3 nights in Jaco. I was thinking I may be missing something but your comment makes me think that 2 days will be more than enough time to deal with all the sharks down there. Its my first trip so I at least had to scope out the action at the Cocal... See you at La Amistad. I would love to do an MP tour and/or check out the night club Alcazar (spelling/). I am not much of a US strip club guy, but this place seems like it is worth checking out. The only thing I cant figure out is that although most people go there, have a good time, spend 30 minutes in the back room having a good time, then there are a couple of reports that state that the guys were told by the ladies that full service is not available??? I will be the pale, white guy from Alaska in shorts at the bar...
