Been to SJO 3 times in the last 2 yrs and still feel like a newbie.Not sure about you guys but when I am done (usually less than 30 mins ) with the deed I usually dismiss the chica. Do you guys dismiss or keep her until rdy for the next round? I am likely heading to Jaco next week and want to be sure I am not getting fleeced. I pay 30000 to 35000 colones usually

I been to Jaco once before. I didnt enjoy my time mostly because I didn't like my hotel. I was at the copacabana. It was filfthy. However, many girls willingly accepted my 30k to 35k. I should note that I am in my early 30s and reasonably handsome.

Especially in Jaco, where chicas go for the weekend to make a months worth of money so they don't have to bang any more gringos until next month's rent is due.

If you negotiate 2 hours then they stay 2 hours. You control when you pay them. If time is not mentioned and they finish and leave in 20 minutes, you got what you asked for. Most people don't make a big deal out of time. To others it is important. What you pay is greatly influenced by your appearance and game. If I was thirty and know what I know now, I have no doubt I could go regularly with hot women at the Cocal for $60 or $70 for thirty minutes. If I was staying at the Cocal and told them 30 minutes now I could probably bat 500. Remember for them time is money, the idea of a quick turn around and back out working would appeal to many of them. Being young and handsome which I am neither, never hurts. Nor does how well you communicate what you want and can make it fun for them combined with picking the right time to take them. If the guys got game and is happy with his time here, good for him.

The pretty much standard price for short time in Jaco these days is 40K-50K colones ($80-$100). Many start out at $150 but are easily negotiated down unless she is one looking for the 'big score' from a TLN (Toda la Noche). I haven't heard anyone pulling Cocal girls for 30-35K in a long while.

As for hotels, unless you are a swinger, Copacabana isn't the greatest place although the suites are fairly nice and is where most of my clients book. For a single male traveler, Cocal would be top of the list followed by Croc's, Morgan's Cove, Poseidon, Mango Mar or Hotel 9. Each has it's good point and bad.

Most people consider short time an hour and most girls will give you an hour at the $80 to $100 rate if you negotiate for an hour. If you don't specify an hour they may leave as soon as they get you off. How would one of them react it you offered $60 or $70 for 30 minutes? Presented to them right, I think many of them would go. That means you ask them when they are alone, not with friends. You ask them when things are slow, not at the busiest time of the day, you do it in a friendly, playful way, not like you are a lawyer negotiating a divorce settlement. Put yourself in their position. They all need the money. Last week I saw 8 to 10 women I know from the Sportsman's and Del Rey working at the Cocal. If I offered $60 to any of them for 30 minutes I know they would have gone. It all comes down to the circumstances.

Thanks Pops. I will definitely follow your advice on session lengths. For some reason many our fellow mongers forget these chicas are women aka human beings. They can also have varying levels of attraction to their clientele. That variability leads to different price levels. If mongers are willing to pay more for a more beautiful chica who says a beautiful chica won't accept less for different mongers. When I was in Jaco I met and hung with a couple frat boys that had a penthouse rented. Some of these guys were able to nab free threesomes just due to looks, charm and "swag". My advice to anyone visiting CR is take a shower, "clean up", look your best. It helps......
