I wouldn't let the CD situation or the bombings stop me from going to either place. Minimize your exposure, play it cool and if shits gonna happen it's gonna happen. I will take a small risk for a great reward 99.9 times out of 100.


I concur. In 2001, I flew to CR on AA on their first flight (3 days) after '911'. It was great...the flights were half-full.

I was able to book at HDR, but I'm not actually staying through the weekend, so no clue if they are booked.
