Christmas/New Years trip. Any suggestions on what location to stay on the west coast where I'm maybe not in the center of the action but close. Flying into Juan Santamaria International.

Stay at the Cocal, because what little action at that time of year will be there. Easter could be worse.

Correct on that 911...probably no action in Jaco that week. Best bet for the Dec 24 to Jan 1 week is San Jose. It will be very very slow, but better than the Tico family environment at the beach. Del Rey, Key Largo will be open along with SL and some MPs :wink:

There is always action in Jaco. Might be a little slower than normal...but somebody gotta buy junior gifts from Christmas.
