Hi All,

First timer going to SJ with a buddy for a short stay. Staying at the SL. Not sure what to expect but looking forward to a fun time. Have read as many threads as I can, thanks for all the great information.

Would love to meet up with any CRTers and share a beer, just look for two bald gringos from texas, haha. I would love to check out the strip bars one night if anyone is up for a guide, our treat.

Also any recommendations for a non mongering day, anything cool to do near SJ, rafting, ATV, zip lining, etc, what would be best this time of the year?

I arrive Saturday. I'll look for you. You will find some great folks at SL who will clue you in. Zona II is a good spot to try as well for a first timer. If you go rafting Sunday, I'd be open to joining you.

Agree SL people will take care of you. The drivers outside SL will take you anywhere you need to go.

I do recommend doing some tours if you can. Look at Expediciones Tropicales, I've been using them for years.
