For me, time is of the essence sólo en la cama.
I have never waited more than 10 minutes for the bus at the curb in front of the airport terminal. The transfer from the bus to a red taxi at the last stop for the bus (in town) doesn't even take 5 minutes. Both the bus and the taxi use mostly the same main roads as Interbus and the other providers.
Only if there's a wreck on the big road, will the bus will be a lot slower than a taxi, which can take evasive action.
Using the bus, there is not much (if any) wasted time to yield more money for the girls.
Very true - the bus is a great option,
and more guys should use it - its simple, too - just go to the front of the SJO airport, and they come by very regularly -
ASK THE DRIVER "San Jose directo?" -
you are asking if the bus goes to down town San Jose, w/out stopping first in Alajuala - not the end of the world if it does, but you want a direct bus to downtown SJ.
Buses and cars use the same road, and the bus only makes a few <very fast> stops on the way to SJ, and the station is located very centrally, across from one of the big churches downtown. San Jose suffers from a lack of a single, central bus depot).
Give it a try next rip - you cannot miss the stop right in front of the airport.
