How will the during the weekday/weeknight activities be?

Other than Easter week (Apr 14-20) and the week before Christmas, and a couple days after, anytime is a good time to go.

The US holidays (MLK, President's, Memorial, Labor, Thanksgiving) usually bring in more guys into town, hrader to get good hotel rooms, but nothing else changes, there's still enough poontang to go around.

As for weekdays. They are good, numbers are less but not too much. Thu-sat is best, but you will still enjoy the other days.

Thank you again for all to the great advice. We shall see.

I did get message from an other member about my up-coming trip May 25-29. They suggested Jaco instead of SJ for a Gringo such as myself. What are your thoughts?

Safe Adventures.

Jaco is a YMMV kind of thing. Many people like it, many people hate it. I haven't been in years because I hate super humid weather. But from what I hear, the girls at the Cocal Hotel Jaco are hot. Most are SJ chicas who go to Jaco for the weekends and US holidays.

If you can stand super humid weather, you should check it out for a couple of days just to get a different perspective. Just know a couple of things: prices are generally higher in Jaco, they start ovre $100 and work down to $100, there are no MP's, daytime can be challenging since most girls come out to play at night.

Yes .. I was thinking about Jaco, but I sweat like a pig and I do not think I want to spent that much per shot. I also like over nights. Trans port would be $300 round trip as well.

Maybe next time.

Taxis are not the only option to Jaco.

Interbus works great, $37 each way. Door to door service, just like a taxi. And it's usually prtety empty, maybe 1 or 2 other passengers. I have never seen the van full.

pchef.........

My thought for you is that you should FORGET ABOUT Jaco until you have a couple of trips to San Jose under your belt.

Hey I'm new here and I've got a question...just got back from my first trip and wondered should I keep in touch with some of the girls I met over there? Do you guys believe in networking with them for months leading up to your next visit or do you just wait until you're there to call them again?

Like they say in Thailand, it's up to you.

We all have our own styles. Do what you think is best. Just remember, it's all about your wallet.

The more you stay in contact with them the higher the chance that you will get the dreaded RFM ( request for money). I have one that I stay in contact with occasionally via email only and she has not asked yet, and I don't expect her too since it has known her for over a year and have not gotten one from her.
Many of these girls drop out of the business and come back in so your never really sure of their availability also it is highly likely that you are not the only one she has a relationship with. I attempt to contact the ones I want to see again a week or less before your next trip and set up something , many of these girls live day to day or even hour by hour.

Each person is different, some guys like to stay in touch, some don't. Personally, there are a couple of chicas I stay in touch with, and will hook up with next trip. What I hate is when some of these chicks see you on FB and they IM you "hola". You respond with hola, and that's where it ends. They contact you but expect YOU to carry the conversation? Is this some kind of Latina thing or just a puta thing? I don't know much about Latinas.

Others don't like staying in touch for fear of an RFM. I know all email programs have a delete button that one can press and the RFM is gone. Or the other option is to just ignore it completely, like it never happened. You don't even have to answer it. The girl won't care because she sent so many that she's not actually keeping track of who responds. Even if she does mention it again, ignore ignore ignore. Let her find a sucker, but it won't be you. There's always a sucker who feels good that he's helping cure a grandma or sick dog, but in reality, he's paying for a night out for the puta and he costa Rican friends and boyfriend, while they laugh at the stupid gringo.

By the way, the correct reply to an RFM should be: "Estas loca?" -- are you crazy? or simply "LOL"

I urge caution about getting to know a working girl ... their lives can be quite depressing, and unless you are hard as rock, they can worm their way into your compassion.

Keep it business. Stay sane.

Don't be so heartless, they need our help. Send as much as you can, they will really appreciate it.   <----- NOT (I'M JOKING ABOUT SENDING MONEY IN CASE YOU MISSED IT)

IT'S OK TO KEEP IN TOUCH, BUT DON'T SEND MONEY. THEY WILL MAKE UP RIDICULOUS (ALBEIT ENTERTAINING) LIES TO GET IT, AND WON'T APPRECIATE IT.

They may not be lying when you get that one RFM ... they may really have a need. It is easy to dismiss people we don't respect, but I suggest keeping all communications at arms-length.

Nothing to do with respect. I can respect the hell out of somebody, but I can still call their bullshit and see when they lie. The vast majority are a bunch of liers; they lie to get what they want from guys. If one really does have a need, it's probably from her own doing. Money mismanagement is responsible for 99% of their "need".
