Matt,
Nice promo. But is it still possible to book a room-only? What is the rate for a queen, including taxes?

Thanks.

Is the promo applicable for double occupancy? If so, what is the cost? I'm planning a trip in October or November, and will gladly join VIP again to get the promo.

he addressed guests on the second page

The way the promotion will work, guests that are all inclusive will receive a braclet (same as admission to a pool or park) that will have the day on it (for example a Monday check in will receive a braclet that has Monday written on it that will expire on Tuesday at 12 PM). If you wish to buy a braclet for a guest the cost will be an additional $50 plus tax for the day. They will receive the same benefits as the CRT but will have to share the room. Please call the Hotel if you have additional questions.

not sure if you meant two dudes in one room but i don't think any of the rooms are set up to use any other way than single occupancy. i think maybe i saw one room w a roll out couch but i don't remember.
would think even if that was the case the same rules would apply fwiw.

Thanks. I will be "taking sand" to the San Jose beach. We will be looking for at least a queen-sized bed.

The promotion sounds as if you wife up with a novia for a week and pay the $50 promotion fee per day she can eat and drink as much as she wants. The economics of this are you are buying a chica a lot of drinks and meals. It may be better to pay menu prices and keep her consumption down. I hope there is no charge for a short time date in room or toda la noche without food and drink.

I'll be in SJO next week, staying at La Amistad, and I'm definitely looking forward to the all-inclusive special. I'll let everyone know how it goes. ;)

MG

Thanks Matt, I hope you are prepared to hire extra staff because I have a feeling that you are going to get busy.

This is really a magnificent promotion Matt, kudos for doing something like this. Now if I ever return to CR after visiting MDE for the first time in just a couple weeks, I'll be certain to try to take advantage of this great deal!

Just returned and the food was outstanding. The pork chop was impressive. I had some serious eaters in my group and all gave it a thumbs up. We tried just about everything on the menu and had no complaints. Half the group was staying at another hotel and ended up at La Amistad for the meals. We were giving them a hard time about eating chicken fingers and fries. Go with the all-inclusive - you won't be disappointed.

Great to hear of the extension - I wanted to come back in the fall, now another reason to do so.

My favorite room before the 2nd floor penthouse additions :)

I know your fav is in good shape, otherwise I would be worried she would be bitching about those 4 flights of stairs to get up there ;) (well, being latina.. she might anyway)

she likes it. but still complains of course
she esp likes being attacked from behind on that last flight of stairs. sometimes takes us 20 minutes or so to get from the bottom to the room.
