Certainly a good solution, although you were lucky that 2 agreed to extended time - better solution is to ASK the property up front what their policies are (they have such balls AFTER you are there; if they are so strident one would think they would make their policies known ahead of time.....)
I know its difficult to serve 2 masters, etc - but to avoid misunderstandings and "unpleasantness" (a) one should ask hotel policies (b) never assume anything
Somewhat off the subject - but maybe not - many guys just assume Costa Rica is one giant Whore Fest and it really is not - in fact, even in San Jose, in or near the "gultch" - very few hotels really cater to the hobby - many others charge sometimes significant chica fees - Holiday Inn is $75++ - nottica fee - tica = Costa Rican female - not another word for whore) or ban guests outright - like the Presidente - despite what you may have heard from guys without a clue about CR, while prostitution exists and is legal (or as Irish Drifter has in the past corrected me - its not Illegal
) its certainly not a version of Angles City or Patpong Road.
