I noticed a post somewhere that mentioned smell of smoke (tobacco) @ HLH so kust wanted to know if it is an issue for non smoker hotel guest?
Are the rooms smoking or non smoking?
Is the bar smoking or not? (sorry, if the only bar is a cigar bar which i assume has to be smoking)

They allow smoking on the top level common area of the hotel. It is bad; especially if someone smokes a cigar.

No smoking in the bar itself. I think all the rooms are non smoking so that is why everybody smokes in the common area lounge.

I have never smoked. I took a smoking room on the second floor because I wanted a window. There was no smell of smoke in the room but the common area outside on the second floor is a smoking area and at night or early morning before the ash trays are cleared up you can smell the smoke there.
It did not bother me.

Smoking is no longer permitted in SL or any other building in CR.

You have to now go outside and smoke at the SL. Same with Del Rey and Key Largo. You will see everybody sitting on the wall outside Key Largo smoking.

Also, here is a thread on the smoking ban in CR:
