Read the trip reports of Captain 1962 and Kb9ora and you will see they brought in girls from outside all the time with no problems.
Also Hemmingway Inn rooms are old and they have lots of eco-tourists who could make things uncomfortabe for your girl.
At HLH you come in at the front door and no one in the bar will even know you are there. You do not have to go to the back and bar area at all. You can even have drinks in your room.
The rooms at Hlh are way more comfortable than Hemming way. I staid there in 2006 and had no hot water at all. Maybe different now but you would regret being there rather than at HLH.
