Does anyone know if Package A or B at the Tiqucia Hotel are available on a walk in basis or do you need reservations?

Can't answer this Brother's question but thought I'd bring this back to maybe stimulate talk about the venue. Does Calvin still own/manage the place? Still Chica-friendly? Tough to beat the location--right near the HLH.

This is not up to the minute info but when I walked by there in April it was padlocked with no sign of life. Too bad because it is a prime location and truly it is a couple of hops to the HLH and other fun places.

I can't be sure, but the guys from the Tiquicia may have gone to the Hemingway Inn. Check it out.

Yes, it's true and they run a good gig there by all accounts, and I have toured the place relatively recently and was impressed with the prices and the management. CRT discount, slightly more spartan than some other hotels, but good value.

I have an idea that, if something could be done with the property, Boyd would be all over it already..........like a DR/KL complex, only better.
