To be blunt, when I told my parents I was going to CR for a few days, my mom asked me why. I came up with the answer to go on a volcano tours as a quick answer. I looked back and did not see any info on volcano tours here so if anyone has gone which ones are good. Yes I need to take pictures as my mom will ask to see them. Before you laugh I am 45 and live in a seperate house from my parents. However my mom does not need to know I am going to monger. Also does anyone know if HLH has tour specials as I didn't see any on thier website. Thanks in advance.

I am not sure about HLH but, most of the Hotels will arrange it for you regardless of where you are staying. I think that you ought to think about one of the 3-in-1 tours though. This way you can plan and save the photos for at least the next two alibis while you are at it ... cause you gonna come back

Vocano tour is a whole lot better cover story then this gringa came up with.

Woman Fakes Daughter's Death To Vacation in Costa Rica

Some will do just about anything to vacation in Costa Rica, including faking the death of a daughter, as did a 58 year old Manhattan High School teacher.

The New York Daily reported that Joan Barnett got one of her daughters to call her workplace to say her sister had suffered a heart attack in Costa Rica.

The New York Daily News reported another daughter then telephoned the school later in the day to report the sister had died and her mother had to fly to the funeral.

The woman, 58-year-old Joan Barnett, who worked for the Manhattan High School of Hospitality Management, got one of her daughters to call her workplace to say her sister had suffered a heart attack in Costa Rica.

Because all city employees requesting time off for bereavement must also present a death certificate to their employer, Barnett then forged one from Costa Rica. The woman admitted forging her daughter's death certificate in order to spend an extra week holidaying in Costa Rica.

Barnett spent two and a half weeks in Costa Rica in March 2010.

She forged a death certificate from Costa Rica for "Xinia Daley Herman" but was caught out when a schools investigator found the certificate had slightly different fonts to official Costa Rican death certificates.

Barnett was also found to have booked her flights three weeks before the date on the death certificate, the New York Daily News reported.

Barnett pled guilty to forgery and has lost her job at the school.

Speaking of NYC school teachers, here's another genius fired yesterday. She forged a letter stating she was on jury duty. She got busted when several words were misspelled.

My mom is a nosey person but I still have and will always have a fear of my parents. But as far as my mom goes when I went 2 years ago to Blackbeard's adult in the Dominican Republic I met my parents for dinner the day after I got back in. The first thing my mom did was say " Tell me everything you did down in the Dominican Republic. I escaped by showing her pictures of mountains and people in horse drawn carts then told her I was really tired(HAHA).

Thanks I will have fun and for all you with your tips!
