As far as scoring, it doesn't matter when people pick their games or if they pick all at once or in multiple posts. I go post by post and copy the picks onto a spreadsheet.

As it gets to the last few weeks, there should be some rules as far as when the picks are due because strategy comes into play as to how many games a person should pick based on the picks of the people ahead/behind him. If you can see results, then it gives an advatage to the person in the lead.

any stratigic edge is cut by the minimum and max game limit. any advantadge is earned by early success.

We need the lines up for this week's games, at least the lines up for tomorrow's (Thanksgiving Day) games ASAP.

You seem to be referring to the minimum and maximum number of games picked (per week, per season ?), no ?

As for the timing that's only an issue at the very end,,,,,, and I don't see any way to "legislate it except for maybe PM'ing the leaders' picks to a disinterested party and once all of them are made they can be posted on the board right before kickoff of the first game - and then, of course, no changes.

ID , as I look back you have posted your bets after the deadline. As I see it they are in by the deadline ther is no PROBLEM.

If you look carefully at both this year and last years challenge you will see I posted by the Thursday deadline until it became evident that the Thursday deadline was being ignored.

I have repeatedly said I thought the Thursday deadline was not reasonable but would abide by it as long as all the players did also. All I have ever campaigned for is a level playing field. If you publish a rule enforce it. If you are unwilling to enforce it do not post it. Seems pretty simple to me but then according to Third World I am just one of the simpletons on this board.

PS: Just checked your picks and see the last time you posted them prior to the Thursday deadline was in September.
