I talked to a person at ICE today about the date that your colons expire. He said, around 6 October, the new rule is that they don't expire until you use them up. They are good indefinitely. I think they are tired of issuing new phone numbers. This Costa Rica! He is going to send me a email. If anyone is good at translating, I will send a copy of the email.
Please add any help we can use. KEEP THE SUBJECT TO PRE PAID SIM CARDS. This new rule may change. This is Costa Rica!

1. When is my refills?
With kölbi your refills do not expire while your line is active, and your line will remain active conduct at least one charge in 120 days.

2. What I can recharge amount?
Your refills range from ¢ 100 to ¢ 25,000 ivi.

3. What happens if I recharge my prepaid service before 120 days?
If no refills before your service 120 days set fall into the idle state and remain there 30 days before being suspended permanently, but if you recharge your prepaid service, this will again be activated.

4. When my line falls in an idle state before I lose my refills?
No, at the time you make a recharge your service again and will be activated on your account before your refills over the last recharge made.

5. After how much time I lose my prepaid account permanently?
If your account is more than 150 days without being recharged your service will be removed permanently and you lose the balance you had in mind.

6. Where I can recharge my prepaid service?
You can reload at the outlets identified and affiliated businesses such as grocery stores, suppliers, pharmacies, supermarkets, hardware stores, and convenience., And also through the Internet via state and private banks.

7. How I can recharge my prepaid service?
You can recharge your service through Pin Electronic, Multi Card and Auto Recharge.

8. How I can check my balance?
You can check your balance by calling 1150, sending an SMS to 1150 or dial * 1150 #.

1. ¿Cuándo vencen mis recargas?
Con kölbi tus recargas no vencen mientras tu línea esté activa; y tu línea permanecerá activa se realizás al menos una recarga en 120 días.

2. ¿Qué montos puedo recargar?
Tus recargas pueden ser desde ¢100 hasta ¢25.000 ivi.

3. ¿Qué pasa si no recargo mi servicio prepago antes de los 120 días?
Si no recargás antes de los 120 días establecidos tu servicio caerá en estado inactivo y ahí permanecerá 30 días antes de ser suspendido de forma definitiva, pero si recargás tu servicio prepago, este será nuevamente activado.

4. Cuando mi línea cae en estado inactivo ¿pierdo mis recargas anteriores?
No, en el momento en que efectues una recarga tu servicio será activado nuevamente y tendrás en tu cuenta tus recargas anteriores más la última recarga efectuada.

5. ¿Después de cuánto tiempo pierdo mi cuenta prepago definitivamente?
Si tu cuenta permanece más de 150 días sin ser recargada tu servicio será retirado de forma definitiva y perderás el saldo que tenías en la cuenta.

6. ¿Dónde puedo recargar mi servicio prepago?
Podés recargar en los puntos de venta identificados y comercios afiliados como pulperías, abastecedores, farmacias, supermercados, ferreterías, tiendas de conveniencia, etc.; y también a través de internet por medio de bancos estatales y privados.

7. ¿Cómo puedo recargar mi servicio prepago?
Podés recargar tu servicio por medio de Pin Electrónico, Tarjeta Multiusos y Recarga Automática.

8. ¿Cómo puedo consultar mi saldo?
Podés consultar tu saldo llamando al 1150, enviando un SMS al 1150 o marcando *1150#.

So basically, the change is that you have to recharge every 4-5 months, instead of monthly. But they are still not active indefinitely. If you don't recharge for 150 days (5 months), you lose the number.

When I talked to him yesterday he told me indefinitly. I ask him about the 120 days I had heard of. He knew nothing about it. Then the email said the 120 and 150 days. Nobody nows anyting for shur about anything. My advise is to not put a lot more colons on it than you are going to use.
