Contrary to what folks have said on here about having a hard time to reach the Sportmen's Lodge, I had a good time while there, especially since I feel they went out of their way to make me feel welcome. They answered my emails quickly whenever i emailed them and answered my concerns. There were a few times that it took a couple of hours to answer me back, or the next day, depending on what time I sent the email, but it was always within a few hours at the earliest to 12-24 hours at the latest. The email address that I get a quick response from is info@sportsmenscr.com. Hope this helps.

In my opinion it's the best and always my first choice, That said I am not a frequent traveler been to sick with back problems the last couple years so I am way overdue. They treat you like family will do anything to help and are very genuinely cool people Bill has working with him.


And don't worry half the damn board argues like 12 year old's and it's hard to find a thread without wading through the bullshit, But rest assured you don't see this in person it's all board bullshit.

Now my second choice is where ever Boyd is, not that we are friends but I just have to help anyone who has so many friends has them for a reason, that and it seems like he makes where ever he goes funner and better for us!!!

Don't stay @ the SL, warm beer, slow service, cold food and that is the tip of the iceberg, they have friggin cocoa puffs in some rooms. Be very careful of the people you meet there including chicas, can be a very dangerous place, trust me I know I have (been blown away there). The staff treats you like a 2nd cousin with red hair, they have catered to all my requests (even midget goats), but they weren't virgins, I think they were used by Mongolians first. So be aware and be very scared if you are one of the lucky ones to get a room,
BTW have you seen From Dusk Till Dawn, would kinda give you a hint as to the aspects of the SL.

Every email as well as every toll free phone call receive is GOLD to us at Sportsmens Lodge. Our staff knows that everything we do here at SL originates with a call or email from our guests. It still frustrates me to see that some people think we do not read or respond to emails. We will continue to work on it from our end however as SRILM said it depends soooo much on spam filter settings on the end we are responding to. Please don't give up on us. If we did not respond to any emails received we simply would not be in business with the current level of low vacancy rates we enjoy at this time.

One time I walked into the Sportsmans Lodge and all the employees and Bill were having a big party with jello shots and doing keg stands. And for every shot you drank, you were allowed to delete one email. If you could do 4 shots without puking , you got to break a window too.

It's not scary, it's the greatest hotel on the planet. Well, there was the time that we were all snowed in and I think we drank all the Jeagermiester in the building and Bill had the security guard's gun and started shooting holes in the ceiling, that was a little scary.
