Gentlemen,

Does anyone know a phone number or website I can use to get ahold of the folks at this hotel? Stayed there 5 years ago and enjoyed it. Right across the street from BB and MB. Not sure if they still honor our CRT priviledges. Anyways, their phone numbers don't seem to work and their website is for sale.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pura Vida!

about 3 years ago they were trying to sell it for a little over a mil. Not sure if they are open right now. Spent a night there with a hole in the ceiling where a light use to be. Had a friend who had to take cold showers. Cocal, Claritas or copacabana are better.

Thanks Raider. Guess I won't be staying there this time around. There was a CRT member who posted a couple of years ago about a gated compound (chica friendly) right next to BB. Anyone know this place? Thanks again.....

That place is long gone. Good riddens. The place was falling apart. Nothing worked, holes in the wall/ceiling/floor, doors/windows not opening/closing all the way, a real 1/2 star dump. The guy who owned it then owned another run down dump at the end of Jaco Road but that's gone too.

Not gone, but from the looks on the outside, as big of a dump as ever! Walked by just the other day.

You're right. The building is still there, but the the American (older big guy owner and his Latina wife) aren't there anymore, unless they are branching out. I stayed at his other dump for one night (could take any more  ). I don't think it's called Paradise anymore either, is it?

Raider,

Sorry to hear about your experiences at this place. Nothing like poor accomodations to put a drag on the festivities.

Let me know if you find Dan's business card. I have some time before my trip (which SUX!). Pura Vida!

Thanks Dude,

But no worries. It looks like I'll be staying at Paradise Condos. Seems to be run by a guy named Bob Johnson. Anyway, saw the pics. Looks pretty nice. 2 large pools and a jacuzzi, gated compound, no chica fees, right next to BB and about $50/night for a 4 night stay + $20 for cleaning lady. They expect you to send the deposit at least 60 days prior to your stay.

Let me know if you or any of the gentlemen on here have had experiences with this place. Thanks again.
