A few questions for you gentlemen:
I' going to be down in CR a few times this summer. I'm getting some work done and looking at some property. Since I'm a p***y hound I thought I would join the site and get some information.

I've gotten great info and found a nice camaraderie amongst all of you. I see pics, I see you giving each other advice and joking with each other. I even see comments regarding a deceased member. Florida. Now I'm as curious as "Fitty" is about them being "Tight" and I'm also wondering if there's any p***y n the Western hemisphere that doesn't have "CubaDave was here!" written on the inside.

So I bought a book online "Living La Vida Loca in Costa", it's a book for sale so let's call this a review and nothing more.

This gentleman stayed at the El Presidente and seemed to have more trouble than anything I've seen mentioned in here.

Are you guys hiding something or am I correct in assuming these are merely the ramblings of a guy who seems to bring misadventure on himself. He seemed to violate every rule I've seen posted here. Christ he even boned one of his buddy's girl.

I'm planning on making my first trip down in the summer (Rainy season) and staying at the SL, I'm just ignoring what I read and taking in what I've learned from you guys.

Read as much as you can, and try not to make any plans; just go with the flow...

Brother Tengu--I haven't read the book you're referencing but believe if it was non-fiction, the guys a dope (nobody has all the problems) and if fiction, jazzed up by putting in every story anybody's ever heard.
If you read and absorb (NOT memorize) Brother Orange's opus, you'll have it all over 80+ % of the amateurs that come down:

Check out the SL or Dunn Inn Happy Hour to swap lies, find a wingman or just enjoy the camaraderie of Our Crowd. Any apprehensions will melt away. Believe it.

Brother Juilliano - I agree, I tend to just "let it happen." Expectations tend to muddy the water and never come to fruition.

Brother Jazzbo - I had "Jazzbows when I was a K*D..I was styling. I have read Brother Orange's tome in it's entirety. It was one of the articles which made me decide CR was a good choice for me as reinforcing to me that this is the site to be involved to do it right. For someone to pt that much information together for fellow mongers was a great contribution and I bow to his knowledge.

According to the author, the book was non-fiction and he was a member here. I even back tracked a few chica posts to him.

In retrospect it seems to be the rants of an unhapy woman hating, compulsive (Sex, gambling, drugs, booze) guy who tends to always wind up with gum on the bottom of his shoe. Grain of salt I say.

I appreciate the sentiment but I'm all about "pay it forward"--That is, share your experience and the beverage with somebody new that could use the booze and the counseling you've gained. "I'm a midget--I appear this tall because I stand on the shoulders of giants."

Well, I would say your experience will be unique just like everybody elses. There will be many common themes that have been covered on this board, but it is meant to be enjoyed and simple concepts like respect yourself and others, use common sense, realize it is a fantasyland so live it for what it is, are the only things you need to have a great experience in CR. Amongst all the information here, the good facts, the banter, the off the topic, etc, I noticed one thing that I found refreshing. The encouragement the gentlemen have when one shares in their playland. There's no jealously. This couldn't happen on a chica forum with more than 1 member. Enjoy your trips down there.

So, I leave you with this closing thought. If you meet a Vanessa, Tatiana, Rachel (or Raquel), Karen, Pamela, Melissa, Veronica, Katie, Andrea or Christina, they are my novias so I hope you would not proposition them. So, this leaves you with one fat Maria at Jet Set and an Elizabeth whos pic can be found in the scammers section. Have fun.

Brother Orange - Thanks for the opus..very informational and one of the first reads. My philosophy...learn from the best.

Brother Dean - I'll certainly respect your wishes with regard to your novias, but it will be tough since I prefer to have all girls call themselves "Jenna" when around me...so I may inadvertently slip up, please forgive any trespass. I did crossfoot all of the aforementioned with regard to performance and somehow you've managed to snag the best performers....so much for "paying it forward.

While I have noted "Melissa" et al and made notes on various facial features and tattoos, I think it wise to not worry about any particular chica before going down and take the "go with the flow and an open mind" advice given to me.

But I will take all your advice and pay it forward.

Looking forward to it and hopefully our paths will cross at some point.
