I thought the GMEN did very well getting the top pass rusher in the draft at 15 in a pass first league. Also Dillard in the 4th round was a great pick!

How did your boys do?

I thought the Eagles did well--9 of 13 picks were defense. Some surprises but believe Reid and Company got whom they wanted.

Dreams abound on draft day and reality comes in September. Many times first and second rounders disappoint and firth and six rounders totally surprise.

Just relax and see what develops.

Well as a Fins fan...any evaluation of the Miami draft HAS to include the trade for Brandon Marshall. Two second rounders for a proven commodity...plus it got Ginn the hell out of here...double whammy!!

As for the rest...I'm with ID, pretty hard to give grades for guys that may not pan out for 2 or 3 more years.

January 3

January 9

When you win the QB is a hero and when you lose he is a bum.

I believe the Eagles were thinking that McNabb had his shot and for whatever reason, couldn't deliver so let's see what the next generation can do. We may suffer a losing season because of this but the purge was on. Losing Brian Westbrook has much greater impact--he will be missed; McNabb--not so much.

My thought was the exact opposite. As talented as Westbrook is/was, you couldn't count on the guy to be healthy. Now they can finally move on without...is Westbrook playing this week?

As for McNabb....the Devil you know is always better than the Devil you don't....

The favorite player of any team missing the playoffs is always the 2nd string QB! Be careful what you wish for. And trading him IN the division....wicked stupid!!

Disagree amigo. Starts with QB and coach. Westbrook is one of the best however!
