Brings to mind a question--Do they have ticket agencies/brokers or any centralizing function in CR or is everything "by-the-venue only"?

Your best bet is to go to there and find a scalper. No guarantee of course, but there will probably be people selling tickets.

I know I am late on responding and I apologize for that, I was a little busy with work to see this before now. The best place for tickets to events in Costa Rica is www.todoticketcr.com.

I am also going to post a separate thread with this info for easier searching in the future.

Good on you, Brother CRGolfer. In this economy, never apologize for being too busy...lest you provoke envy. Looking forward to that promised post on ticket services, etc. Gonna be a lot of interest in that, me not least. It would have been swell to see Depeche Mode in CR.

Trust me, save your money. You do not want to be surrounded shoulder to shoulder by wild ticos singing in broken english. Ticos dont know shit about Metallica anyhow, outside of maybe the Black album. It is an embarassment. I suspect GNR will be the same. They can't even sell out college auditoriums in the US, who would want to see them here?
