Trying to plan my exit out of SJ as efficiently as possible. Anyone who can tell me how to get from National Car rental to Highway 27 West would get much appreciation.

I believe national Car rental is near the Coribic hotel. If that is correct it is very simple to get the CR27 as that is the pista that begins on the south side of Sabana park.

Thank you ID...sounds easy enough. I am also looking at Economy Car Rental; their website says they are next to the Nissan dealership. I believe that is just south of the Mas por Menos in La Sabana Norte? So, a quick jump to the south would do it. Sounds doable. I've driven in other countries - including from the north of Scotland to London, which was about 600 miles in a stick shift, so shifting with the opposite hand and driving on the wrong side of the road, and yet that seems easier than driving in CR.

The Nissan dealer is right next to the Corbici. Mas x Menos is across the street. Driving in CR is not that difficult once you get use to it.

National La Sabana is about a block East of Mas X Menos. I believe at about Calle 42 and Ave 7. That's where I rented a car last trip. Not the easiest place to get to at 5pm on a Friday to return the car though! :? Not that there is ANYWHERE that is easy to drive to in SJ at 5pm on a Friday.

The fellow I dealt with seemed decent enough. Spoke decent english. I didn't have any issues with the rental, charges or billing.
