does anyone know the tica visitor policy at presidente ? we're coming down in March and Del rey and sportsmen were both booked so we chose presidente. The operator at presidente told us tica visitors are allowed in, no extra charge, they check i.d. of course. I heard they give a hassle if bare shoulders and mini skirts are worn by the girl. would appreciate any advise and/or info you guys have, bringing 77 year old grandfather for his first visit, I'm an experienced visitor, though.

There is a dress code which is reportedly unevenly enforced. A majority of chicas at the Del Rey are familiar with the requirements and have the ability to meet them.

This has been the subject of countless threads here. A search should keep you busy reading for awhile, answer all your questions and make you a PHD on the Presidente.

thanx puda vida, I suspect a quick 5$ may change the mind of the worker blocking the girl if I encounter that, worse case situation, I guess I can run up to the room and come down with a sweatshirt for her....

The hotel also maintains a blacklist of girls who are not allowed in, and a girl can be put on that list for whatever seemingly trivial reason the hotel can come up with--including not being properly dressed one time. You might end up with a rude surprise. The dress code is strict, chica better not be showing any skin anywhere below the neck. Five dollars isn't going to change anything, the hotel really does not want you and your puta there.

Marcello--There are other fine hotels at which you will get zero-hassle and which have ground floor rooms so your Gdad doesn't have to navigate stairs (sorry if that sounds a bit age-ist). My fave is Hotel Dunn Inn but the Castillo and La Amistad are in about the same class. Consider also joining us a a paid Member--the great discounts, the Monger Map, access to members-only areas of the Board--all serious enhancements to you and your Gdad's experience. And you can pick up the card at the Hotel Little Havana in CR. A good deal all around even if only for 1 trip. To your Gdad--Party on, Dude!
Not to be smarty with you but all the Chicas aren't ticas--only the CR women are. Plenty of Nicas (Nicaraguan), Dominicanas, Colombianas, etc. here.

Dont count on them accepting your cash to gain entrance. If she's not dressed "properly" or if she happens to be on their "black list", she's not getting in regardless of what you offer the dude at the gate.

As he said other fine hotels around. Avoid any chance of hassle and stay somewhere else. You may also check back with the SL to see if they have any cancellations, it frequently happens

I concur, find another hotel. I tried to take a conservatively dressed spinner to the restaurant for lunch last year and was turned away. A $10 spiff didn't change the situation. In order to gain entrance, the girl would have needed a dress or skirt to the knees, or pants. No go President for me.

most chicas that are on top of their craft have an extra pair of pants or another top that can blend into what they are already wearing. the down side to this is you will be putting a limit on who you can and can not take out. cant depend on chica logic to help us all the time. lol.
