Recently I found out one of the goodfellas will be staying here for Halloween. I'll swing by and check it out, as well as ask questions.

I'll let you know what I find out

Lomo,
From what I understand you can go take a look and get a tour. You can also try to pull a girl away but unless it is dead ass slow or you are willing to spend some big bucks it might not happen. I have heard ridiculous prices.

I might possibly be the goodfella that Cuj was mentioning so I'll be sure to let everyone know what I find out about the place. Worth it or Not that is the question. I can tell you now........ there ain't NONE and I MEAN NONE of the girls worth the kind of money I have heard being thrown around. The Hotel itself stands, in my opinion, a better chance of being worth it than does the chicas.

Just my 2 cents.

The best I ever negotiated was 200 for two hours everything goes. She was a solid 10 colombian.

Personally with the Mansion wing rooms at the SL I can not see any appeal anymore to Hotel M. If you have not been in the Mansion Wing ask for a tour the next time you are at the SL. Incredible rooms, lots of privacy and reasonable prices. I think it is best of both worlds, upscale and private with direct access to the frat party for old guys.

Read the words in bold and that's all that needs to be said as far as prices go. Her opening bid was probably $300 for 2 hours.

I use the M because I have a couple of non-working favoitas that will not go in SL, among other reasons.

Oh wait,
I resemble that when I'm in town @ the SL. :) :) :)

I promised to write a report on Hotel M upon my return and so here it is. I stayed there over Halloween and I really liked the hotel and the staff everyone went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The Hotel is very clean and very upscale. I think it has the potential to be a very cool place.

My room (Room 10) was very nice. There was a whirlpool tub for two, a glass enclosed shower and large candles to provide ambiance. I also had an enclosed patio that was nice. It looked like at one time there had been a stripper's pole in the room, there were 4 holes in the ceiling an 4 holes in the floor. I never asked if that is what it was or not but based on the location I can't imagine that it could have been any thing else. Personally, I wish it had still been there. Watching a girl dance that knows how to use a pole is a huge turn on.

Now for the down side. I was only there over Halloween and while the Hotel was sold out, it really didn't seem that there was much of any thing going on at all. Friday night I didn't really see anyone in the bar area. Then Saturday night at 10 - 10:30 I saw maybe a couple of guys and couple of girls hanging out. I didn't hang out there at all so it was just a passing observance. The girls I did see certainly would not in my opinion been worth any where near what the kind of money I've heard kicked around in this thread. There are plenty of girls as hot or hotter at the SL than the ones I saw. I did talk to Scott on Sunday morning and in a passing conversation he told me about a chica that made a deal (the night before) for $150 but then once she heard her friend had made a deal for $200 with someone else she tried to renegotiate...which didn't work out. The chica ended up with nothing. Scott says in her way of thinking she came out the winner...Go figure. LOL

I'd really like to see the place take off because the layout and facilities are really second to none I've seen in San Jose. I think the room rates are a little high considering that there is no real action there. If it is always the way it was when I was there...You're going to have to go out. If you had the crowd or even half of the crowd the size of SL's with electronic music you could have one of the most ultra chic places in San Jose to party. The chic-ness of the hotel had a kind of South Beachy feel to it. If they only had the crowd.

For right now, I'd have to opt to stay at the SL simply because of the action... I like the action. I do however prefer the Hotel M to the Amistad, just my opinion and I know everyone has one, but I like the staff and the facilities better plus there is an off chance that you just might be able to pull something from the bar area, which won't happen at Amistad. I do, however think they need to rethink their pricing structure but then again they were sold out over Halloween so they may not need to.

Scott if you read this...Thanks for the hospitality and I loved your hotel. Good luck and I would love to see you place packed with chicas the next time I'm down.

KenLee

PS. I am pretty sure Scott would welcome the chance for anyone to come take a look at his hotel and I'm equally sure you would be welcome at the bar...any time.

From Brother KenLee's report, Hotel M has the facility, it just lacks somebody with the sales/ marketing savvy, contacts and imagination of, say, Brother BKTuna. That kind of thing if you don't have it natively you go out and buy it--entrepreneurship, among other things, means knowing your limitations and how to overcome/ bypass them, even if that means giving up a piece of equity, a bit of control. Just a thought...

I agree with Jazz but the thing that is mostly holding the M from becoming popular is the price.

They are pricing themselves out of 95% of the CRT market. And while there are many who can afford it, why would they when there are similar options available. Plus, factor in the ¢2,000 taxi ride each way from the gulch, it adds up. It's like chicas... why pay $100 when you can get similar quality for $70.

I know the M rooms are nicer, but $200/night is way too high.

Whenever Hotel M throws a party go and check it out. I was there for St. Patricks Day. It was about $15 for food and drinks. The girls were all dressed in short green outfits and a dwarf dressed in green. There was a really good Irish band. Between sets for the band there were strippers performing on the pole and interacting with the guys. Lots of girls to mingle with during the evening. The finale was the strippers and the dwarf. He got abused quit a bit. Plenty of food and a lot of fun for a few bucks.

I am a hotel M fan - but if you a cost conscious monger who is going 24/7 - the SL is the best. I like M because it is calm in the daytime and the party is whatever you want it to be at night. You can shop at the DR or SL and bring your girls back to the M for whatever fiesta you want. My buddy paid cien for the girl he picked up at the M. It is not a "high-roller" place in my opinion. The girls who come when called there can be pricey - but if you speak spanish, they will work with you.

The bartenders are cute but I was not under the impression they were on the menu. I love the staff there and they didn't deny me any request. Scott and Michelle are truly great people. If you have business to conduct during the daytime, this is your place - good internet and full business services - fax, scan, print, etc. and you can have your business associates there during the daytime without looking like you are having a meeting in a house of il-reput (or great-reput more like it if you are talking about the SL or the other CRT sponsers).

If you like to kick back for a while without feeling like you are being attacked by pirahnas, this place maybe for you.

I also have to agree that for strictly a boys trip - the SL is top ten world wide. Bill has done a great job.

I will be staying at the M again from the 10-14th of Nov. doing business during the day and monkey business during the night and I will not pay more than a cien (and a cien better be buying me unimited play).

My $.02

Peace love, and to each his own,

Don Rico

Ps. Call and ask Scott or Michelle to show you around - tell em Don Rico sent you.

Amazing how people STILL don't get M, even with all of the "hints" tossed around here willy-nilly.

Most bartenders are on the menu. They do not have a party there every night , but if you have a group of guys they will damn sure throw you one all you have to do is ask.
