Yeah.. those links to other sites are a real bitch. My god, the server is straining under the pressure of using another sites bandwidth. :shock: The internets is nothing but tubes and they are crumbling!


ADMIN Wasn’t talking about links, he was talking about “imbedded pictures”. There is a difference to a server. I am so glad that Al Gore invented the internets. lol Pura Vida brotha.. :roll:

Actually brother.. I know exactly what he was talking about and you can't embed, only link. Use the IMG tag above. More so, I know the person who embedded the pics, I taught him how to do it. :wink:

However, I'm willing to be proven wrong, embed a pic straight on this server. Let me know how it works out. :D

Unless you load to the photo gallery and pull straight from there which I have you can't. He controls the uploads and you can't do straight HTML on the site because its disabled. Trust me, I would have gone bat shit loco by now with Paco's homo erotica from Youtube. :D

I just uploaded a video to another board, over there each member gets 200 mb for files & videos plus can put 5000 pics in his personal album! I don't really understand how how it all works or why other boards have such huge amounts of storage available while "embedding" one little pic here slows down the server? :? Anyway it would be awesome if CRT would upgrade to something similar one day.

These things take time! I mean, 2 - 3 years isn't an unreasonable amount of time to get features available out of the box now on $4.99 hosting accounts. I give it another 2 - 3 years and this board will be in the early 2000s technology wise. :D
