I think the more familiar you are with the chica, the more likely things are going to go off well without any weird looks from "civilians". I didn't end up taking a woman with me on the cruise -- but we did hit up some nice places to eat and walk around town together without any real issues.

You might want to check out the Mirador Ram Luna restaurant. There's a fantastic view available from the table next to the fireplace (balcony) -- and on Wednesday nights there is a dinner show and fireworks.
