Any good Thai food to be had anywhere in San Jose?

I wunder if they have any real good Costa Rican resturants in Bangkok?

Why even post. Cuisine from cultures is available all over the world. I doubt you have even been to Bangkok where there is a huge diversity of cultural cuisine available.

Sawadeeka!

Yes Grasshopper.........many different restaurants in Bangkok but I go to LOS to eat Thai.

While we're on the subject, what is the local Costa Rican dish where a sliced steak is cooked with Jalapenos? With a big glass of Chilean red, it's very good. Muy Bien!! :P

Bon Appetite!!

I tried the new Thai offerings at Don Wang. It was simply bland curry with chile powder added.

Dr Chen recommended Tin Jo to me about 4 years ago, it was decent then. I guess it's gone downhill since.

There is a Japaneese resturant in the Coribici hotel. In the back by the Casino. Do not know if it is good as I am not a big Shshi eater. But It is definitley a Japeneese resturant.

Gabacho,

I do not believe that would be a Costa Rican dish  The tolerence level of heat in the local cusine is a fraction above that of someone from Idaho or Minnesota. Ticos do not enjoy any amount of heat in their food.

Caliente is primarily a Mexican thing, with a little picante in Peru.

I took a chica there just a few days ago. Not bad. They try. Not as good as in the US though not as expensive. Go to Cafe Mundo. Way better food.

I thought that I had it at the Presidente a few years ago and maybe also at Dos Gringos. This time I just had some nachos and beer at the Presidente and forgot to check the menu. Now that you mention it, I've certainly had something like that in Monterrey and Tijuana.

I went to that Thai restaurant in Aruba, it was not even in the top 50 restaurants in Aruba. I have had better Thai food at Disney.
