Last night I had my wallet lightened a bit in the Celtics-Bulls basketball game. Please bear in mind that I am not at this time applying for the CRT handicapper's job. If I were I wouldn't put last night's debacle on my resume. I bet the UNDER at 195X and the final score was ONLY 128-127 after regulation and 3 overtimes,so I was ONLY 60 points away rom cashing my ticket. That's ONLY 60 foul shots......or 30 2-pointers....or ONLY 20 3's. To make matters worse,my celtics even lost the game and the series is now 3 games apiece.

Not that I am much of an NBA fan (college is the REAL game)...

And not that I think they have much of a chance in Boston in Game 7.

195? At least you probably didn't have to watch the 4th QTR and OT's since they covered that in the first 3 QTR'S...

Bob, sorry you were on the wrong end of a (game /series) that is just going to keep going over ....I was in san jose this weekend and after taking the worst beating at the tute table since I have been going to san jose ....I did what any gambler would do ....start the next day with a new out look !!!
Took 200 out of the DR atm and went over to the morazan and played 100 under 100.5 (sunday)in the 1st half of the bulls game and 100 over on the rangers game 11 ...hit them both and took that win and parlayed it into a 980 win at the DR back at the tute table .....

I would keep playing overs on the yanks ...no matter the pitching match ups....also heat game on sunday looks like a good under ....

Out west here in Nevada we actually had a state legislator propose a bill that overtimes in any athletic contest would not count in the final score when determining who the winner was for wagering purposes in the sports book. I imagine that this guy, like you, had a winner until a game went to ot after which he had to rip-up his ticket. It's nice to know this legislator is focusing on important issues instead of mundane stuff like the state budget, road construction, schools, crime etc. etc. etc.

VB...you better bet tonight's game 7 to get back some of your money from game 6. You know the Celtics never lose game 7 at the Garden (well, it's not really the Garden anymore). I went to the old Garden quite a few times, to Celtics and Bruins games. What a dump the place was, but it did have a lot of hisatory. Ah, North Station, the Green Line, the North End, I miss those days. Is the European pizza place still open in the North End? I can still hear Johnny Most (high above courtside)..."Havlichek stole the ball!", "what a play by DJ!, etc.

celtics are finished. why anyone would bet anything on them is beyond me. must be a beantown homer. LAKERS WORLD CHAMPIONS 09 and beyond!!!
