Sorry to hijack your thread, Dramatist, but I found another application for all iPhone users on CRT who might want to carry the full res CRT map.

I have been trying to load/save the CRT map without loss of resolution without any luck. ArchieLeach was kind enough to send me a jpg. iPhone automatically decreases the resolution, the end result being a fudgy map which you cannot zoom into.

I found an iPhones app called Files Lite which can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store. It allows you to store full res images, pdfs, docs etc and open them in the phone.

I can now zoom and scroll away the wonderful CRT map on my iPhone.

I live in CR and have an unlocked and jailbroken iPhone that works with my CR cell phone card. You can actually use the GPS function of the iPhone to find and mark your favorite locations.

Want to get together with Bang Bang and add a GPS version of the walking tour to post in the VIP section.
