Plaxico is such an idiot man, it's really surprising to see such dumb mistakes being made by stars in the spotlight. Can't he hire a team of loose cannon off-patrol cops? or better yet stay his ass at home if the "block is hot". He doesn't have a list of girls waiting to come over to his house? It really amazes me someone can lose 27 million dollars of near guaranteed money to go to a nightclub, it's such a shame.

As for athletes and celebrities in public, I do sympathize a little for them. They are just humans beings like the rest of us, they have their good and bad days and are expected to be all smiles and hugs at all times.

Although they make tons of money to basically entertain the masses they do get harassed plenty. They are obviously somewhat obligated to present themselves well off the court/field. They do need to realize that whether they like it or not they must take on a role model position. That is the burden for making 10 million dollars to play a sport, or act in a movie, or sing a few songs. The small amount of sympathy is washed away when their contracts are printed out in the newspaper.

I've met a few class act celebs... Magic, Warren Moon, sugar ray leonard, jamie fox, Ronaldinho, Andrew Bynum

I've met a few asshole celebs... Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady (I couldn't believe that these two guys were such assholes to one of their true genuine fans, hurt pretty bad)

Part of celebrity status, and all that comes with it, is giving up anonymity. It may or may not be right, fair or just, but it is a fact -- an outcome of notoriety and fame.

It doesn’t just apply to the famous. Sometimes based on our association with or membership in a group with high ideals there is more expected of us. It is why there is such shock and disdain when priests diddles little boys; when the local Mormon missionaries take off the tie and tie one on with a three day drinking binge; and you can fill in your shock and/or disappointments.

I think that famous people including star athletes become too arrogant because people are always bowing and scraping, kissing the ole rump roast and that leads the person to believe they are Teflon and can get away with anything. They have a right to . . . because they are . . .

That arrogance was so graphically displayed when the heads of the top three automakers just happened to jet in to DC for a loan.
