Hello Guys. I could use your help. I will be in Costa Rica from 11/22 thru 11/30. I have booked the deluxe with king bed at the HDR, because I couldn't get a room for all the days at the Presidente or SL. I have stayed at all of the hotels above, and usually stay at the spa room at the president, or the new wing at the SL.
My question is should I give HLH a try. I see they have rooms for the days that I will be there. I checked their website, but they don't list any prices for their rooms, and also did a search any couldn't find any information. I will try and call them. I don't see a phone number on their website. I stayed at the HDR a longtime ago, and I was not impressed with their rooms. I didn't want to be hunting for rooms, so I grabbed the best room at HDR that I could get. They didn't have any balcony rooms left, but put me on their waiting list.
Any help or insight would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks for your help in advance. Pura Vida !! :D

I can't see the beds at HDR being anything you would want to sleep on based on how much wear & tear they have had.

Screw wear and tear. Think of the amount of DNA you would be sleeping in.

I am a huge HLH fan!!!!
Love it there, everyone there has treated me like a super VIP.
and there is no charge to bring back any guest.
to many great things for me to list.

If you like to have a balcony get the cohiba or the Romeo suite
Prices are $195 for the big suite
I think $140ish for the new rooms.
If you are a crt member take 10% off all rooms, food and drink

That is my take on it.....Primo

The rooms in the new wing of HLH are much like the suites, just smaller and without the suana, steam, chairs or other extras; price is $125. Do have king beds, 32" LCD TVs, clock radios with Ipod dock and shower stalls with a see-through window. I know this because during one very busy Saturday during my trip in September I got to session in one of the new rooms, one of the first-floor ones with no window; apparently the regular rooms (there's only six of them now after the remodel) were all occupied, no extra charge for this. :D
