As I'm reading this again, I'm just now realizing the babysitter thing was for the standard $300. Where does this exact sum come from? From previous threads it seems to be the magic number that will fix all wrongs. No matter what the reason it is always $300. hmm

They seem to like two numbers - $100 and $300. And, there is nothing mystical about the reasoning. Nothing in their world costs exactly $100 or $300. Their rental expense is way below $300. Very few own cars. I think they just believe that if they nail one gringo per month for $300 and then a bunch in between for $100, then over the course of the year they will make something around $5-$6K... which is a very good salary in CR.

WOOOAAAAAAAHHHH I put way to much thought into that.

NAAHHHHHHH... Its not that complicated. They simply price $100 for short-time and $300 for long-time. There is NO WAY they are thinking into the future or projecting future income. NO WAY....

Do you have any idea how many women left a permanent job and K*ds behind to come to USA? Personally I know of many. As a result, that doesn't count as "favorable" when applying for a visa.

Odds are 1,000,000:1 she'll get a visaon her own. Oh better yet her chances (considering her personal info disclosed) are slim and none....and slim left town. UNLESS you marry her of course. But before you have the same odds of success with her long term/short term in the future as she does obtaining a visa on her own, WATCH YOUR STEP! But as others have said already....you are getting played. IMO - I concur, you have a 1 in 100 chance (or worse) that she is serious, so think about it. But hopefully at least if she is giving you TLN for your $$, then at least take for what it is..."pura vida."

Guys, after I went thru the finacee VISA thing a while back and looked into the impact and logistics of bringing her illegal into the US, I think I've found THE way.

Enroll her into Berlitz English classes one term, then apply for a student visa (60 days, $125) and enroll her one term into classes at a US based Berlitz affiliated school. You then have one year to decide what you want to do. Once she's in the US, enroll her into an ESOL (English as Second Language) program with the local public schools adult education and she is still in compliance and you save the expensive tuition to Berlitz.

It's much faster, cheaper and less hassle than any other way. You avoid the 5 year financial responsibility for her under the fiancee visa and the 90 day rule to get married or else. Also the chica learns some English. She avoids the hellish status of EWI (entry without inspection) that can never be overcome, not even if you marry her.

Make sure she has a CR driver's license and she should be able to drive in the US. She won't be able to get a job until one year in school, but most of the chicas wanting to come with a gringo to the US don't want a real JOB. PM me if you really want to bring a chica to the US and I'll tell you what I've discovered. I'll also tell you "don't do it." The chicas down here are like crack cocaine and we dudes think we can handle it.....no problem until we are addicted. In most every case, there is nothing she can bring to your life but drama and problems. Just ask yourself if she were already in the US would you even seriously date her. then you will know how or if to proceed.

Indeed. The one thing that is certain, as she learns what puta's go for in the US, she will start to raise her self-value. She will also being to get a gringo sense of self-entitlement.

I've seen it a number of times with friends who have married girls from out of the country, and it always turns out the same.
