I would have to agree with Ciao. I have talked to several chicas over the years, mostly ticas, who have told me that they avoided blacks. The funniest example is the one that got married to my buddy. She was a white tica who would not invite me to the wedding until 2 days before, because I had a black rent-a-novia, and she didn't want any blacks at the wedding. Little did she know that I knew that she had a black boyfriend and a black ch*ld. Way twisted. To say that prejudice does not exist in CR would not be an accurate statement IMHO. The truth to be known, I have, perhaps, contributed to that racism, in order to compensate for the rumor that blacks are better hung, by telling the chicas that blacks don't eat pu*sy. MY BAD.

On my last trip, I met up with a friend who was traveling with a black guy. And I will say this, the difference was noticeable. It just seemed that he didnt get that many approaches at all. We couldnt walk thru the DR without getting accosted, and it seemed that he could have hung out solo there all day and not be talked to. And I felt bad for the guy, there was one girl he really like, and she quoted him $300, and I felt that was an obvious snub.

I have no doubt that it exists. In fact, I got a few interesting looks. Once, I got frisked prior to entering the HDR in the afternoon, and I cannot past for anything but a Black American upon close inspection. However, at the end of the day, I had more than a fair opportunity to acquire some tail. One non-pro would not go out with me, but, like many things trans-racial, I never got the rationale. Now, one Black chica that I took home expressed surprised that I took her. She said that she felt that the Black Americas only wanted the White chicas.

Some girls get down with black guys and some don't. If you are black, you know the deal as it's like that anywhere. I know girls who stay away from young guys, white guys, ticos, old guys, etc..

Girls are girls everywhere.

Thanks for the help guys. I just wanted an honest assessment. I am not overly sensitive, but I just need to know what my game plan would be and what kind of expectations to have.

The closer you act in the same way you do in your hometown the better

in three years/ten trips i have had maybe two outright turn downs. dont know how many were outpriced turndowns because I am prejudice against putas and refuse to sleep with them for $100 an hour

I don't think my guy 50 Strokes has any problems either. Although he has mad game and speaks fluent Spanish as well..lol

Rain isn't a big problem. And there are less guys in the DR, so better pickins and usually better prices during the rainy season since the girls aren't doing much business.

Two years ago a group of us were sitting at the BM bar and a friend that was at the table noticed that every black man that walked in was getting stopped by the HDR security. They were searched and the let in. There was a black man in our group and he was not stopped when we walked in. We could not figure out if it was age, race, how you are dressed or who you are with. But it was clear, the security at the DR is profiling the guests.

you should have little to no problem with the ticos
better yet i have had no problems with the ticos.
keep n mind that i am from th bahamas and not much gets to me.
but honestly the times i have had a tif it has been with fellow ctr members with closed minds
i had one guy telling the girls in zona blue that he would not session with them any more if they went with black men and that black me dont tip. but for me . it just rolls of my back because any body that has met me knows i just dont care . so enjoy your self and have fun
