All of the above, and I gotta have some Merle Haggard mixed in too.

Although Glen Campbell might not rank among the 'greats,' he does have a prominent place in rock and roll history. He was a much sought after session guitarist prior to Gentle on My Mind. I've watched him on youtube and his guitar playing was on fire. He was also, I believe, a replacement in the Beach Boys for a while. His early playbook included some very catchy tunes, and ones that I recall fondly. His rhinestones don't hold a candle to George Clinton's, however.

And I will say that although people make fun of Liberace, the man could play the piano. But he sucked on the organ. :D

VERY STRANGE List Of Artists.........

Sorry, No Vote, You left out
some of the MAJOR ARTISTS of our times.

For example:
Did you ever hear of a group from Kent, England,
That changed the face of modern music,
Showed the music world what
a Concert was all about & set
Mega-Million$ World Touring Records?
Everytime they hit the road?

Hint: They have ONLY been playing since 1962 &
Have produced one of music's TOP Song Writing Teams.

Hard to put ANY MUSIC LIST together without including them.

They are PAID $2,000,000 to $4,000,000 per SHOW.

That's $500,000 to $1,000,000 EACH for a 2 Hour Concert.

Those are real nice paychecks,
when playing 175 concerts worldwide per tour.

Do the math.
They have more Wealth
than most countries in Central America.......

The World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Woods, Charlie Watts.

THE ROLLING STONES

Who the Hell is 'DMB' anyway???

OK, I finally figured it out,
At first I thought it was some rap artist.

DMB.
Dave Matthew's Band.
They are very good.
They opened for the Stones.

love the ambient/chill music on your selections
btw glen campbell was a joke even though galveston and wichita lineman are on the playlist somewhere

Black sabbath broke out when I was in 6th grade, Homes... i just downloaded Trent Reznor's latest expose of his tortured soul, NIN's "The Slip." I find Stabbing Westward to be pretentious and lacking substance, but too hard? Na-a-ah. :D

Glen Campbell's "Wichita Lineman" is one of the best pop songs ever written recorded...but "Rhinestone Cowboy?" Makes me wanna puke.

What's all this Elvis cult shit/? Yes, on stage as a young man he was electrifying, but his moves/vocals were nothing new, if one knew any black musicians. Furthermore, Roy Orbison had a better voice, and had he been more handsome, he would have worn Elvis' crown. When Elvis gained weight and began overusing the medicine cabinet, he lost all his talent/charisma and began a sad downhill slope, perpetrated by the machine that had been built around him. Sorry Elvis fans... I just don't get it. Elvis 1960 yes. Elvis 1970, not so much.

I always get a charge out of the public's taste in music. Not to sound elitist, but I loathe much more than I love when it comes to music. But people's opinions about music are of little significance - no life/death issues as in, say, medicine or aviation.

I knew a first-rate pro studio cat who used to like to say, "It's only music!" That's stuck with me my whole life (lol).

Thx PR.

Just what I need, an occasional update of my music collection. I love to try new stuff, but most in my opinion is less than fine.
