Does anyone have info on this Hotel. I tried a search and found nothing.

It is the Marriott near the Bridgestone/Firestone factory you pass on the way from/to the airport. I have never heard it referred to as the Coffee Plantation Marriott which is why you may not have gotten any search results.

Stayed there on my first night in Costa Rica labor day 2001. Beautiful hotel (former coffee plantation) outside veranda is fantastic I brought a chica back in the afternoon and another at night desk clerk had a big frown on his face in 2001 it was $10 taxi to the del rey no chicas on premises or much going on for that matter decided to move downtown the next day and the rest is history

I will be staying there soon and can give you info if you want. From my research, it is chica-friendly with no fee, but it's currently around a $20 ride each way to the action. There, back, and taxi for the chica...that adds up to $60. I think it's going to justify me getting a room at SL too.
