It truly depends on your needs. If you prefer a North American 3 to 3.5 star hotel this is your place.

friendly accommodating staff

exercise facility

good food including a gratuitous buffet style breakfast

centrally located

clean modernized rooms

comfortable bed

chica friendly - no fee limit 1 per room at a time with a strict dress code [most chicas know this]

relatively quiet [by gulch standards]

Buddy, make up your mind. You seem to go from hot to cold on the Presidente with each visit.

Ok, so I got Wed night covered ad SL. I'd love to stay there each night but they don't have availibility. So, my second choice for my standards, and my company is paying for the hotel would be the Presidente. Lastly, DR.

Putting it this way, what do you guys think, Im there tommorow and need to book my other nights.

PS. What am I going to do during the days with the mp closed????

Your chances of getting a room, at the Presidente, on 2 day notice is slim.

Only 4 of 100 or so MP's are closed.

I haven't stayed at the Pres for about 5 or 6 trips now.

Presidente is a nice Hotel. Not very expansive for VIP. The 1 chica limit and dress code is what keeps me from staying there. I stayed there for my first trip, I had to run up to my room one night to grab a pair of sweats for my "guest", they wouldn't let her in with a mini skirt. I do like the BLT in the News Cafe though.

By the way, I found out later that some of the cab drivers carry sweats and stuff for just such an occasion. The will sell them to you if needed... quite enterprising of them, go figure.
