The first weekly naked BJ tourney was held last wednesday night at 8:30pm. They had a very nice party with sushi and plenty of free booze for all the participants and invited guests. This will be a weekly event with the party starting at 7pm. They had dancing chicas and others that were around for your dining and dancing pleasure.(if you know what I mean) The entry fee was $200 with ALL the money allocated in prize money. They paid 5 places with 22 entries. They are limited to 24 entries so I suggest you get there early if you want to play. First place was $2000 which was won by my friend Robert. I collected $400 for 4th place. For the first week, the tourney was extreemely well run.

As I said in my opening post to this thread....The blackjack tournaments at the Horseshoe Casino are being held every Wednesday night with the party starting at 7pm and the tourney at 8:30pm. They had 16 entrants this week.

First 4 weeks have been very up and down. The 1st week they had 23 people. The 2nd week,6. The 3rd week 22 and last Wednesday they had 6 again. unfortunately I think they will end the tourneys unless the attendance picks up. It won't justify the good food and booze they are putting out. I also hear that the table play from the participants has been sparse. I guess the guys find it "HARD" (play on words here) to concentrate with the large-breasted chicas dancing.

Diamond Mike, the Horseshoe's tourney director, is in Vegas for the WSOP and won't be back for another ten days or so.

The naked tourneys will resume in July. The price will likely be the same, although I've been told that they may drop the entry fee and then have a big buy-in event once a month.

There are two tourneys scheduled to go on Wednesday, July 30th and August 6th. The fun starts at 7:00 p.m. and the cards start flying around 8:30.

Although I've read in earlier posts that they don't serve top shelf liquor, the Horseshoe will serve premium cocktails to gamblers by request. :P :P

I have attended a few of these events and they are alot of fun. Just seeing Vegas Bob and Robert destroy the hors d'oeuvre table week after week is worth the price of admission IMO.

I can confirm that these tourney's are worth the price of admission. A well run tournament by one of the best blackjack players every, Diamond Mike. Add the girls (that are available for rent after the tourney), the food, and the lovely horseshoe staff and it's a nice little Wednesday evening.

Yeah, what is the structure of the tourney.
How many chips do you start with?
What are the minimum bets?
How many hands per round?
Do the top two from each table make it to the final table?
Is there insurance, surrenders, what is the double down rules?
